Our Parent Education Program Staff

Learn more about the staff of NYU Langone’s Center for Perinatal Education and Lactation, which provides parent education and support.

Francine Pasadino, RNC-OB, CNM, C-EFM, IBLCE, LCCE, MA, Nurse Manager of Perinatal Support Services

Ms. Pasadino oversees lactation services and parent education programs. She is passionate about providing a world-class experience for families at NYU Langone. Throughout her extensive career, Ms. Pasadino has held numerous roles in perinatal nursing including full-scope midwifery, and has served as an obstetrics and gynecology nurse educator, a nurse leader in obstetrics and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and on the faculty of schools of nursing. She is a graduate of NYU School of Education with a master’s degree in nurse midwifery and holds national certifications in inpatient obstetrical nursing and electronic fetal monitoring.

Gladys Vallespir Ellett, MA, RN, IBCLC, LCCE, Nurse Coordinator, Lactation Services

Ms. Ellett works to improve the breastfeeding experience of expectant parents and new families through prenatal education and postnatal support programs. Throughout her more than 10 years at NYU Langone, she has served in several positions, including the coordinator for parent education and community outreach, assistant nurse manager on the Mother–Baby Unit, and as practice nurse for NYU Langone Maternal–Fetal Care Center. She is a graduate of NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing and holds a master’s degree in education from The American University. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, as well as a Lamaze-certified childbirth educator who serves as chair of continuing education for Lamaze International.

Elizabeth Lampert, RN, MSN ED, CLC, LCCE, Nurse Coordinator for Parent Education and Community Outreach

As a doula and childbirth educator, Ms. Moore has worked as a maternal–child health nurse and educator for over 20 years at hospitals in New Jersey and New York. She has worked as an advanced and basic cardiac life support and neonatal resuscitation instructor, and is a TeamSTEPPS® master trainer.

Victoria Masterson, CLC, CSPT, Program Coordinator

Ms. Masterson is responsible for the administrative support for all parent education programs and handles the day-to-day operations for all classes and the office. She is an American Heart Association (AHA) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instructor and part of the AHA CPR faculty. Ms. Masterson is also a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers instructor.
